Sub_Urban Music presents the official Remix Pack of “Music Is The Cure”, one of the label’s standout releases during the 2024 season.
The original track, produced by Cee Elassaad (Casablanca, Morocco) and Lee Wilson (Puerto Rico / USA), stood out within the Soulful House circuit, combining high-quality house production with an inspiring message.
In 2025, the label launches a new chapter of the project with the “Music Is The Cure Remix Contest”, organized in collaboration with Beatport through the Beatportal platform.
The contest received over 120 remixes from producers around the world, generating notable impact across social media and the electronic music community during January.
Among all the submissions, three artists were selected by the jury composed of Lee Wilson, Cee Elassaad, and Sebas Ramis, director of Sub_Urban Music.
Q.Narongwate (Indonesia / Bali)
Main winner of the contest. His remix transforms the original into a more house-driven journey with a percussive groove, while fully respecting Lee Wilson’s vocal performance.
Kappawam (South Africa)
Second place. His remix offers a Deep House atmosphere with Afro nuances, a refined and elegant cut that stays true to Sub_Urban’s DNA.
Hulio On You (Albania)
Third winning remix. His version brings an Afro-Melodic vision, with smooth progressions and emotional harmonies reminiscent of Keinemusik’s style. An ethereal closing that keeps the message alive: music is the cure.
A Release That Unites Cultures
The Music Is The Cure Remix Pack symbolizes the global connection that defines Sub_Urban Music: producers from three continents reinterpreting one same message through sound.
From Bali to Albania, from South Africa to Puerto Rico, this release reaffirms the label’s vision — to unite cultures through music and expand the language of House, Afro House, and Deep Melodic on an international level.
