Guri, Life On Planets - I Do What I Do (Remixes)
On August 28, Sub_Urban Music presents, in collaboration with Disorder, the Remix Pack of “I Do What I Do”, one of the most recognised tracks from Guri feat. Life On Planets. The release brings together the original version alongside three new reinterpretations by Moeaike, Guri & Eider and Sebas Ramis.
The original remains at the heart of the release, with its recognisable lyrics, catchy and direct message, and an energy that has connected with young people over the last few years.
From there, the pack explores three different directions. Moeaike pushes the track towards Indie Dance territory, combining a raw bassline and solid groove with a synth melody that keeps the tension running throughout, while allowing the original vocal to retain its weight.
On the more energetic side, Guri & Eider deliver a tougher House interpretation built for the most intense moments of a set. A funky, repetitive bassline drives the groove, surrounded by raw, direct synth work that gives the remix a strong dance floor character.
Sebas Ramis closes the pack from a more Afro Melodic and elegant Indie Dance perspective. Deep percussion and background textures meet funky guitars, piano and a more developed bassline, gradually building into a melodic House progression before dropping into an elegant Indie Dance groove.
Three different interpretations, each taking “I Do What I Do” into its own space while keeping the identity of a track that continues to hold a special place in the Sub_Urban catalogue.
Available on all platforms August 28.
