Guri & Eider keep building a solid catalogue with a clear sense of quality.
After “Move On”, the duo return with “Sound Of Freedom”, a two-track EP that shows two distinct sides of their current moment: one groovier, with a dancefloor-driven chord progression and strong energy; the other more melodic, instrumental and progressive.
“Sound Of Freedom” opens the EP with a production built around an afro-tinged percussion groove, a full-bodied bassline and Eider’s voice integrated into the rhythm of the track. A chord progression leads alongside the vocal, while elegant acid sounds gain presence through the drop, pushing the energy to its most intense point.
On “Day & Night”, Guri & Eider collaborate for the first time on the label with Ememut, who joins the production and adds backing vocals to Eider’s voice. The track takes a more melodic and progressive direction, with elegance at its core.
